The Hong Kong Single Parents Association understands that single parents not only face the psychological pain caused by the broken family, but also feel hesitant to take care of their children and other financial pressures. We hope to provide single-parent families with appropriate service support so that they can become self-improvement and self-reliant. At the same time, the Association also actively advocates the single-parent policy to help build the self-esteem, self-respect and self-reliance of single-parents to increase the society's acceptance of single-parents and single-parent families , do our best to promote our service tenet of "self-improvement, self-help, and then helping others".
In order to cooperate with the [Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation) (Amendment) Ordinance 2021], which was implemented by the government from January 22, 2022, referred to as [“Subdivided Housing” Tenancy Control], the “Hong Kong Single Parents Association” specially promotes a [Subdivided units support scheme (Sham Shui Po)]. The purpose is to promote the content of this ordinance to everyone. We will use different methods (such as lectures and street stops, etc.) to let everyone have a deeper understanding of the relevant ordinance.
