District Service Teams

District Service Teams

Since 2022, the Government has engaged non-governmental organisations through open tender to set up six District Service Teams responsible for the promotion of various policies and initiatives in connection with subdivided units at district level, including the Basic Housing Units regulatory regime, regulated tenancies of subdivided units, as well as light public housing and transitional housing. At the same time, the District Service Teams assist in the handling of general enquiries concerning subdivided units, making referrals of complaints about tenancy matters to the Rating and Valuation Department for follow-up, and supporting households in need with applications for light public housing and transitional housing.
